Druss Park
Kids need to let off some steam? We know just where you could go! Check out Druss Park, only 6 minutes from One City Place, at the corner of South Lexington and Prospect Avenue. The park has two separate large children’s play areas for everyone to enjoy and have fun, with benches throughout the park for tired adults. The park has three separate areas, each separated by small slopes.
Tibbits Park White Plains
Can you believe this beautiful park is only a three-minute walk from One City Place? Escape the city steps away and breathe easy by wandering their walking paths, and taking in the impressive urban backdrop. Tibbits Park is a gorgeous urban escape, a 4.52-acre park with benches, three memorial statues, fountains, a gazebo, and a decorative clock. The park features colorful annual and perennial plantings and is composed of seven large median traffic lanes along North Broadway. Located at 1 North Broadway, the park runs from approximately Lake Street to Armory Place.
Gardella Park
Introducing Gardella Park, only 5 minutes from One City Place at 175 Ferris Avenue! Dedicated in memory of George J. Gardella Jr., a former city court judge, the park features a playground, picnic areas, and baseball, softball, basketball, and soccer courts.
One of the best-kept secrets in White Plains is Gardella Park’s refreshing, pristine swimming pool, which includes a bathhouse with small locker rooms, restrooms, lifeguard, and first aid rooms, and an observation and sunning deck on the roof.
The Bark Park
If you’re looking for a White Plains dog park, The Bark Park is for you! Located at 465 E Main St, this pet-friendly park is opposite the back of Delfino Park. Dogs love the open space to run around and exercise, and the park features an area set aside just for young or small dogs. Membership is required to make use of this park and all dog owners are required to have a license.
Bryant-Mamaroneck Park
Love a good hike? Head over to Bryant-Mamaroneck Park, an 8.93-acre circular trailway park at 643 8C, White Plains, NY. The rugged half-mile looped trail is perfect for hiking and exploring nature.
Battle of White Plains Park
Formerly Battle Whitney Park, Battle of White Plains Park is the most visible remaining piece of public land on which the Battle of White Plains was fought in the Revolutionary War. There are signs throughout the park explaining its historical significance, and amenities include two play areas, a playground designed for children between the ages of two and five which includes a log stack climber, wiggle ladder, arch bridge, storefront panel, double swirl slide and toddler swings with bucket seats; and a play area designed for children between the ages of five and twelve that includes a 7-post Netplex play system.
Liberty Park
Gone fishing! Adjacent to the 22-acre Silver Lake, visitors can enjoy a fishing dock, a kayak launch, and beautiful lakeside walkways and trails. Come for an all-day outing, and enjoy a picnic lunch at peaceful Liberty Park.
Gillie Park White Plains
Gille Park is the former Gedney Park White Plains NY. Super kid-friendly, Gillie Park features a playground for 5-12 year-olds and a tot playground. The park is home to the White Plains Little League and the “Field of Dreams” and regularly hosts preschool programs in the Gillie Recreation Room. With plenty of sports fields, including ten Har-Tru tennis courts with lights, a half-court basketball court, and two lit ball fields with bleachers, Gillie Park definitely makes it to the top of our list of White Plains Recreation and Parks!
Delfino Park White Plains NY
The largest of the three multi-use parks in White Plains, this 17.89-acre park is located at 110 Lake St. and offers lots of recreation options. And if you’re looking for a White Plains skate park, Delfino Park is home to Ebersole Ice Rink. Year-round programming is offered for residents and non-residents and includes preschool programs, summer camps, adult softball leagues, Little League, and ice skating and hockey at the rink. The park includes two playgrounds, basketball courts, two platform courts with heated floors and lighting, two baseball fields with bleachers and lighting, and a picnic area with grills.
Travis Hill Park White Plains NY
With picnic areas and outdoor grills, as well as playgrounds, horseshoe pits, ball fields, tennis courts, basketball and handball courts, Travis Park is a fabulous destination.

J Harvey Turnure Memorial Park
The J Harvey Turnure Park White Plains NY features gorgeous Japanese cherry trees that blossom into a beautiful display each spring. Located in a densely populated part of the city, this 4.05-acre park is located diagonally across from Eastview School.
